Some examples of exemplary Special teas
The love of tea seems to go well beyond borders with many people and tea devotees resorting to
Special teas. Not that folks have gotten tired of the conservative green and black teas, oolong tea and the lotus
tea but because giving the conservative teas a little different rendition works better and sweeter if not richer
and deeper.
There are so many so called special varieties of tea that there will not be enough space in
these pages to speak about them all. We will, however, try to mention just a few of the most common or popular
types. Note that they are just derivatives of the more traditional types of tea and nothing very
different.
Iced tea
A friend of mine was musing about why someone would want to have a colder tea than the more
delicious, according to him, hot tea. Well, I guess, the musing or wonder was a result of his ignorance about iced
tea. Yes, the tea is sweet and rich in flavor too. The iced tea also carries with it a very strong and acute
medicinal value just like its hot counterpart.
In fact research has shown that iced tea works to prevent the highly prevalent heart diseases
and the scary cancer especially among constant users of the said tea. Iced tea can therefore be said to be among
the elite types of tea that offers both comfort and medicine at the same time.
Spice tea
In a bid to seek a more exotic feel most tea users engage a special tea called the spiced tea.
Again, someone would ask, why put spices in tea when you should use the spices efficiently in food. Spices were
considered food or additives for the richer and much civilized folks in the society. But currently the tormenting
taste of the spices are so coveted yet accessible that none has so far been left out among the groups of people who
not only use the spices in food but also in their cups of tea.
Spice mélanges is a very special spice tea additive that is sweet and enriching. When honey
together with frothed milk is added to the sweet mélanges concoction, the taste is simply out of this world.
Herbal tea
Herbal tea is probably the most popular of the special tea bags bought by tea lovers. First, it
is loved purely for its medicinal value then second because of its sweet aromatic flavor. In fact the common
statement among many folks is “everyone is going herbal” I mean, herbal tea, herbal toothpaste and herbal
everything. With a good cup of tea made from herbs, you will find a very powerful taste that will remind you of a
strong oolong black tea or even an espresso.
The Chinese have also not been left behind with their special Chinese tea. These people are
without a doubt the consummate tea lovers in the entire world. But if you love tea so much the special kind will
simply be a very beautiful addition to an already existing sweet and rich array of tea varieties.
