Tea Infusers: Your Home Based Tea Friend

Tea infusers are devices or equipment where tea leaves are put to undergo brewing; it can be a cup. This cup is known by several names such as tea maker, teaball and tea egg depending on the place or country. The popularity of this device grew in the early quarters of 19th century. During this time, the period when Queen Victoria was on the throne, no well off family in the British population would miss this gorgeous tea brewer.

These infusers are easy to use where by you can brew broken leaves as well as fanning without struggling at all. This equipment is not different form the usual tea bags, it carry spherical tea bag feature when bought. So that you understand vividly about the infuser; look here. It is just a small perforated metal or mesh spoon or container in which leaves (tea) are put so that you easily brew your tea.

You will find infusers in varying styles, shapes and features i.e. conical shaped, spherical and cylindrical shaped designed to meet your tea brewing needs. The outstanding type of infuser commonly used is the split sphere that has handles carrying tong features that are meant to open the meshed container. The stainless steel tea infuser is rather expansive even if it is of high quality and lasts longer as compared to most infusers which rust and get spoilt due to frequent heat.

By placing the infuser in a pot or cup of boiling or hot water you end up getting your tea brew. You only need to wait patiently as the tea is brewed; this is meant to prevent the loose leaves from getting to the cup or pot you are using.

It can be difficult to remove the infuser from the pot if it does not have any attachment e.g. rod. Ensure your infuser has a supporting rod to make your tea brewing easier and enjoyable; it doesn’t matter if it is mesh tea infuser or any other type or brand available in the market.

You have to note that infusers that have very wide holes lack the pedigree to hold or restrict all leaves. You will need a strainer to get rid of tea leaf remnants or else you will end up drinking a brew that does not meet your desires.

Apart from the mostly used infusers in brewing tea, a French Press can be used to brew tea. When your tea brew infuser breaks down and you desperately need to take some tea, you can use the French Press to infuse your tea.
